Bacon and Cabbage Stew

Ingredients


  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 300 grams chopped bacon

  • 1 onion finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup red wine [optional]

  • 1/4 of a cabbage finely shredded

  • salt to taste

  • 1 teaspoon paprika


Method


In a large saucepan place oil and fry onions till soft

Add bacon, fry till crispy

Add the cabbage and cook till soft, about 15-20 mins

Add the rest of the ingredients stir through

Ready to serve!
