Bacon and Onion Quiche

24 cm flan dish
Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
Ingredients
oil for greasing flan dish [24 cms wide dish]
and 1/2 tablespoon extra oil for frying
1 sheet defrosted puff pastry
1 rasher bacon, chopped
1 chopped brown onion
1 cup grated tasty cheese
4 eggs , lightly beaten
1 cup cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
Line the greased flan dish with the puff pastry and put aside
Fry the onion and bacon ,in the extra oil, fry till bacon is crispy, set aside to cool
Beat the eggs with cream and add salt
Place the fried bacon and onions in the base of the flan dish
Place cheese over it
Pour the eggs over the cheese
Bake in oven for about 40 mins till golden and custard is firm
