Baked Beans

Ingredients


1/4 cup olive oil

1 large brown onion chopped finely

4 teaspoons minced garlic

2x400g tinned cannellini beans rinsed and drained

1x400g tinned diced tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 cup water

1 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

salt and pepper taste






Method


In a large pot add the oil and onions and fry gently , till soft , add the garlic fry for another minute

Add the remaining ingredients stir through well , bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes , check for salt and pepper

Serve with toast , delicious!
