Chicken thighs with creamy mushroom sauce

Ingredients
1/4 cup oil
1 large brown onion peeled and diced
700 grams chicken thighs [about 4 pieces]
500 grams cleaned sliced mushrooms
300 ml bottle cream
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried thyme or [2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme]
1/2 cup white wine
1-2 teaspoons salt [to taste]
pepper to taste
Method
Place washed and pat dried chicken in frypan with oil
Gently fry till cooked through, will take about 20 mins
Once cooked remove from frypan and set aside
Add the onions to the frypan and fry till soft , then add the garlic, stir through and cook for one minute
Add the mushrooms, cooking them, till moisture evaporates, will take about 20 minutes
Add the wine , chicken , cream, and thyme stirring through
Add the salt and pepper to taste , cook for about 5 minutes Ready to serve! Delicious served with mashed potatoes or pasta or rice and a green salad , Enjoy!
