Greek Trahanas Soup

Ingredients







1/2 cup sour trahanas

3 cups cold water

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 - 1 teaspoon salt. [to taste]

200 grams feta cheese to garnish the soup








Method

Soak the trahanas overnight in the 3 cups of water

Add the milk, salt and butter and stir gently over a low flame till it thickens , will only take about 15 minutes

Once cooked serve with feta and fresh bread, usually served at breakfast time
