Maple glazed ham steak

Ingredients
2 tablespoons oil
2 large cooked ham steaks or thick pieces of ham about 200 grams
[make sure ham is patted dry]
3 tablespoons maple syrup
4 glace cherries [optional]
1 tablespoon pineapple juice [from the tinned pineapple, iff using, optional]
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 teaspoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
2 slices of pineapple [can be fresh or tinned]
Method
In a large frypan warm the oil and add the ham Cook for about 5 minutes on low flame till browned lightly both sides.
Now add the pineapple and fry gently for 1 minute each side , place on a plate
In a bowl mix together the maple syrup, pineapple juice[iff using], orange juice, brown sugar, mustard and paprika .
Pour the mixture into the frypan and cook till mixture thickens will only take about 1-2 minutes
Add the ham and pineapple back into the pan and warm through with the sauce
Place the ham steak with pineapple slice on top and pour sauce over it and can top with glace cherries [optional].
