Pineapple and strawberry cake

Ingredients for Cake
6 slices of pineapple fresh or tinned
2 cups strawberries cleaned and halved
1/3 rd cup brown sugar
1 /4 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups plain flour
3 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3/4 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup milk
Method
Preheat oven to 160 degrees C
Grease a 21cm cake tin and line the base with baking paper
Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and line the cake tin with it
Place the pineapple and strawberries over it
Place the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir through
Add the rest of the ingredients and beat with a mixer for about 3 minutes
Once all combined pour this into the cake tin and place in the oven cook for 50 minutes check if skewer comes out dry iff not , cook for a further 5 minutes and recheck, once done place cake tin on a wire rack and cool for 10 minutes , once cooled turn over and place on a plate
