Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients
600 grams skinless and boneless chicken thighs chopped in small pieces
1/4 cup oil
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 spring onions thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sake
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons mirin
2 tablespoons white sugar
Method
In a large frypan add oil and fry the chicken pieces
Once chicken is browned and cooked ,set aside onto a plate
Now place ginger and garlic into the frying pan and fry in the oil [add more oil iff needed] for 1 minute
In a jug mix the soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sesame oil and sake and pour this sauce into the frypan
Stir it gently and add the chicken back into the pan
Warm it through till sauce thickens, add the spring onions
Ready to serve with steamed rice and any vegetables for example steamed broccoli , or buc choy
